(Senior) Talent Acquisition Manager (m/f/x)

Remote (Europe timezone)

We are looking for an experienced and ambitious Talent Acquisition Manager to support our team growth across Europe.

At UPPER, our mission is to enable companies and top product & tech professionals to successfully work together in a future-proof, trusted setup. As Talent Acquisition Manager, you help us achieve this mission by ensuring a sustainable growth with outstanding people in our team.

As Talent Acquisition Manager, amongst other things, you will:

  • Lead talent acquisition. To maintain a fantastic product, we need the best people in our team. Identify UPPER’s talent needs and work to create and implement an efficient talent acquisition strategy to support our growth.
  • Own the full recruitment lifecycle: Be responsible for employer branding, sourcing candidates, screening CVs, running interviews, and ultimately hiring the best people for UPPER.
  • Build and maintain a great culture. We love to work for UPPER and want to keep the strong connection through our values. You will build a (remote) culture for vibrant employee experience.
  • Be the “go-to” People contact. You are a trusted and empathetic advisor for all employees and the management team. Act as a point of contact, foster a relationship between UPPER’s stakeholders and potential candidates and ensure an outstanding candidate experience.
  • Think ahead. Support hiring managers in anticipating talent supply needs and specifying requirements, and ensure they are regularly updated regarding talent pipeline status.
  • Drive innovation. Keep up-to-date with any recruitment trends and innovate on processes and tools that can improve candidate engagement, attraction and acquisition, as well as employee experience.

About you:

  • You’ve “been there, done that”. You have +2 years experience as a Talent Acquisition Manager or similar HR position. Yet, you are flexible and open to innovation and changes to the Status Quo.
  • You understand how it works. You have hands-on experience with the full hiring process (e.g. sourcing, CVs screening, interviewing) and culture topics.
  • You’re an innovator. Ability to be strategic and tactical when making decisions.
  • You’re a strong believer in data. You’re analytical and capable of reading data and reports to assess complex information.
  • Language skills. Ideally, you speak fluent German (very big plus) and English (must-have).
  • You’re an excellent communicator. We’re a 100% remote team, and remote without great communication simply doesn’t work. You typically work in CET ± 2h and communicate in a timely and precise manner.
  • You see challenges, not problems. You are positive, goal-oriented, and have the ability to solve problems and find ways to create value.
  • You love doing things efficiently. As a part of a growing company, you have an opportunity to make a big impact, and you’re keen to build processes that’ll make your job more efficient over time.

…and what we bring in

  • A vision and mission that is not for PR but truly lived! We are paving the way for how people will work together to build products and software in the future.
  • Attractive compensation package.
  • A top solution with exciting customers that let you gain insights in the product landscape of Europe’s top companies!
  • Fully remote enabled culture. Work with us in our office in Berlin for a few days a week or go fully remote.
  • A strong and highly passionate core team with experience in scaling B2B companies.
  • Team & company events and annual offsite

How to apply

  • Your CV
  • You could send in a standard cover letter – instead, we’d like to encourage you to send us a short paragraph/a couple of bullet points why you would like to be part of UPPER
