What we’re looking for

Are you a sales professional with solid experience in managing a sales pipeline as well as managing and developing a sales team? Do you have an analytical and entrepreneurial mindset and want to be the key player in influencing how Upper grows worldwide?

More specifically, you will 👇🏼

  • Drive the overall sales strategies, expansion plans and objectives for both the direct sales and business development departments
  • Develop target-oriented account and market strategies for the realization of new business opportunities
  • Be accountable for effective sales organization design – including processes, channels and sales resource deployment
  • Manage and develop the sales team, including hiring new team members, setting up team and individual KPIs
  • Recognize the individual potential of the team members and help them to use their talent through goal-oriented coaching.
  • Ensure the proper use of CRM database and tools to track performance and build accurate forecasting
  • Build strong and collaborative relationships with other internal stakeholders
  • Prepare regular forecasts and thereby control and optimize KPIs

What are we looking for 🔎

  • You have 3+ years of relevant experience in sales, ideally in a fast-growth environment for a B2B marketplace or SaaS. You can prove a deep knowledge of B2B sales strategies
  • You have 1-2 years of experience leading an international team of Account Executives and/or Business Development Representatives. You have been responsible for team quota achievement
  • You are an outbound expert and know what it takes to fill pipelines and optimize conversion steps up to closing
  • You are a high performer in sales and bring an excellent track record of successful projects to the table
  • You are an analytical decision-maker, numbers-oriented and focused on growth
  • You are a natural people manager and can prove to successfully coach and build your team in all aspects of the sales process – from lead generation to deal development and acceleration to deal closing.
  • You have an innovative & entrepreneurial mindset and strong self-management ability
  • You are energized by and thrive in a dynamic and rapidly evolving start-up environment

Location information 📍

This is a fully remote position. This means you can work from anywhere based within Europe +/-2hrs CET
